Data retention

How long audio, transcripts and related records are kept, and what is not stored.

Playground #

Playground: storage is on by default. Audio and transcripts are kept in your account for 30 days, then deleted automatically. In the dashboard you can choose 7, 30 or 90 days, turn storage off, or delete a session at any time. A shorter period also applies to sessions already stored.

API #

API: storage is off by default and is chosen per project. API access is not open yet.

Usage records #

Usage records survive content deletion. They hold an account identifier, a project identifier and a number of audio-seconds — no audio and no transcript text — and are kept for billing.

What is not stored #

Voice and biometric enrollment data are not stored.

Customer audio and transcripts are never used to train models.
